Published July 2017

Dear customers, partners, and interested persons,

We have used the first three quarters of the year to be innovative and creative and are happy to show you our latest product news within this newsletter. Our technical innovations spread over the product fields of robot and UV-Technology set new standards within the sewer rehabilitation market. Allow yourself to be convinced:

Combined control unit for Robot and TV

With the new KASRO Pro LOOK control unit both TV inspections as well as milling works with the KASRO electric working robots 1.7 and 4.0 can be controlled. Until now it was only possible to control these works separately via two different control units. In the future it will even be possible to control also KASRO injection sealing and cap placement systems via the combined control unit.

Pre installed on KASRO Pro LOOK CCTV systems, the DigiCan Pro reporting software is able to measure the inspected sewer inclination and ovality whether at one point or within the complete sewer length. Furthermore it is possible to measure the size of the damage inside the sewer through laser technique.

The innovative software is applicable for both TV inspections and rehabilitation methods.

The operator can control the power consumption of the various electric motors which are mounted within the working robots in real time. Through that the ageing process of the motors can be controlled. The operator can counteract possible breakdowns at an early stage. Furthermore the inner pressure within the chassis of the robot and camera can be controlled.

Another innovative feature is that we can grant online support to our clients. Our service technicians log in via internet and are able to assist with service works online.

KASRO UV CCU

The innovative mobile UV system combines a UV control unit and a 200 m cable drum into a single compact system. This setup is suitable for pipes ranging from DN 150 to DN 1200. Launched in early 2015 the system has already been sold 15 times.

The unit weights a total of 530 kg and can be installed within a 3.5 t van or can easily be deployed via lifting platform. Mounted on four wheels, the system can be moved by a single person for operation on a range of urban sites, including footpaths, cycle tracks or near railway infrastructure, and can perform relining jobs as short as 15 m. The initial operation for such rehabilitation stays minimal.

KASRO UV light core 2x4x1000 W

The KASRO UV light core for the dimensions DN 550 to DN 1000 has been developed further. The UV lamps are distributed symmetrically around the core and move closer towards the laminate via a unique expansion technique. Through such a placement, the curing of the liner is both more efficient and consistent. A higher lamp performance is not required to ensure a high-quality polymerisation during the curing process. Thus, the nearer the lamps get to the laminate, the inliner is cured faster for about 30 – 40 % with greater consistency and uses significantly lower energy consumption.

The uncomplicated scissor lift makes the new double cores more stable and resilient compared to the previous model.
